An early date (last weekend in May) for this year’s video, as I hope to visit later in the year too, but it’s not looking promising at the moment.
Things have been discussed with The King but whether he participates or fucks off on holiday while I’m up is anyone’s guess.

The King didn’t fuck off on holiday and we had two very pleasant days shooting, which was better than a holiday for him.

First draft of the script is written and I’m confident the video will be finished by Christmas.

Yes, my affection for urban decay and grime seems to be mistaken for criticism by some, despite me stating my love for Glasgow in every video.

The King and I have begun discussions for this year’s work and he’s chosen what part of Glasgow he wishes to focus on, he’s not going to be happy when I send him my list of ideas though, but annoying him is one of life’s joys.

He wrote this excellent piece and I’m eagerly awaiting his Partick assassination , but I won’t be holding my breath, unreliable cunt that he is.

Yes, time did slip through my hands with that video.

Anyway, five days over the third weekend in September have been booked for this year’s shoot.

The King and I plan a day out to a destination unconfirmed and a day exploring north east(ish) Glasgow, during both he will be on the hook for lunch, as payment for allowing him to appear on such a prestigious YouTube channel.  

If he’s not busy, Furniture Went Mad and I intend a day trip, on which I’ll buy lunch because FWM is a gent of the highest order.

I’ve also been invited to lunch at the Glasgow Art Club and hopefully a tour, depending on which day I’m free.

In the evenings I’ll probably be in The Star Bar, The Laurieston and other spit and sawdust establishments, nursing a glass of lemonade and sending abusive texts to his majesty.  

Another fantastic shoot during which I once again encountered outrageous Glasgow kindness and generosity.

First draft of the script has been written and emailed to The King for his contributions. I’m confident(ish) the vid will be uploaded before the end of the year.

The vid is finished……….apart from The King’s contributions as usual, he’s such an impediment.
Next year I’ll force him to buy lunch in Glasgow’s most expensive Greggs as punishment for his tardiness.
