You know, sometimes when I want really good song-writing and a great delivery I look no further than this band:

we all mellow Immo, I'm even prepared to forgive Mike Scott for the Perth debachle. Surgeons say that despite his head being firmly stuck up his arse, he was pretty good back in the day

Jaw-droppingly good this one.

No pun... no hidden meaning... just purely... musically... jaw-dropping.

You may feel a slight release of tension in the muscles surrounding your lower mandible is the central message here.

I call that fair warnin...

The imaginatively-titled "Northern Soul - The Film" is (finally) due out this summer.

I've been following their page on FB for the last year or so and it looks like it's going to be a good un. They've properly researched the look/style of the era and at one point members of the production team were scouring e-bay for original 70s clobber. Shocked

Whether Sev managed to offload his extensive collection of Simon shirts and college jumpers is still unkown at this point. Very Happy

If you're on Facebook... you can enjoy the (splendid) 'rushes'.

The choons aint too shabby on their own tho. Cool
