Anyone who doesn't like Northern Soul is toryscum or thinks Wiggins is clean, but most probably both.

Did you catch Beeb4 World News a coupla nights back?

Good piece on the extent of doping in the land of the spoke and the sprocket.

Covered the blood-transfusions angle mostly - but generally an excellent piece of reporting.

The ground behind the new FVC Stirling campus is good for cycling.

You gotta watch out for the river tho. Smile

You were right about the cheating bastard Armstrong and I'm sure vooz aveigh raisins re your suspicions about the squeaky-clean-ness of 'Saint Tame Northener of the Blessed Sideburn'....

Get in there Crownyboy! Twisted Evil

At this rate both of us will be able to clamber from the under-stair cupboard of despair to the broad, sunlit uplands of the first floor landing together. Very Happy

Incidentally... I trust that's the handle of the dustbuster currently pressing damply against the back of me Levis? pale

Didn't catch it but it would have been a naive, ill-informed piece. These hacks know fuck all about doping. Doping has already moved on from what they're reporting.
The governing bodies of all sports are corrupt and are complicit with doping. The UCI told Armstrong when testers were coming, giving him time to "prepare", they also covered up his positive tests, and not only his. Sky are now in bed with the UCI.

Weight loss is the new thing, but weight loss without losing power, which isn't possible. You can't be the best climber and best time trailer like Wiggins and Froome are, without dope.
GW-501516 was the new wonder drug, allowing you to lose weight while maintaining power.
The magic number is 6 watts per kilo, anything above this is obvious doping. You'll see Sky (and all riders) ride with power metres so they can make sure they don't surpass this wattage. A rider will always lie about their weight so their W/KG doesn't look ridiculous.

Kickball is full of dopers, Ronaldo, Van Persie and full teams like Barca, don't be fooled.

Oh yeah, one last thing, Chris Hoy, don't make me fucking laugh.

If any lawyers are reading, the above is not a statement of fact, just the thoughts of *********.

Tonight's fayre...

Starter

Bruschetta di calamari ripeni

Main

Herb-crusted rack of lamb, crushed new spuds with lamb marrowbone and lemon zest, swede&carrot puree with cumin and spring greens.

Pud

Toffee cheesecake with peanut butter and raspberry jam ice-cream.

All accompanied by an appropriate (Sunday night) soundtrack of course. drunken Champion

I'm thinkin about this one for the starter (imminent)

It's a lovely You Tube rendition from ole Maxim V...

... the ad hoc, knee-jerk response/review (in brackets) by the poster on the title of the clip is:

a. Disgraceful
b. Perfumed
c. The kind of thing that rampant homophobe Mo will squeeze a few miserly drops of poor comedy from. Laughing Evil or Very Mad

Press your buttons and gamble away! Smile
