Seems a bit pointless now.
You carry on, immo. I'm still missing the point right enough.
Hope you're well.

Re: Great Lost Tracks - An Everyday Series
Sometimes when I look at the old footage of Mick Farren I get a sneakin suspicion that he went underground sometime in the mid-70s... straightened out his 'fro and re-emerged in the late 70s as Janet Street-Porter.

Ahhh I'm (nearly) pissed...
...you aint so hot.
Incidentally (pop-triv fans)...
The bassist on this clip; Tetsu Yamauchi, had an unhappy experience during his (brief) spell with the band.
Anxious to 'fit in' he attempted to keep up with Rod & Co's Herculean drinking schedule.... and became a hopeless alcoholic before the end of his first year in the job.
Sadly... his replacements; Ryuchi Saka-potatoh and Stomu YamashtabeenAbeautifulbaby, fared no better.

Deviants were 'too American' for me.
Sound engineer Itchi Rsole toiled with Ronnie, Ian and Kenny's drinking habits as well, as I recall.

"Ghost" shot vidja.
If the 'ghost-shot' term is unfamiliar then you prolly haven't been watching Mark Cousins' "The Story of Film: An Odyssey"...
Betcha Crown has.
Y'all should too... you'll never regret it a day in yer life.

Re: Great Lost Tracks - An Everyday Series
Ok... last indulgence...
For Mo (and his pal Studs T. )
Here's what you gotta do...
Hit play on the first clip with the volume up as high as it'll go.
After about 2.40, hit play on the second clip - but with the mute on.
This means that the commentary should (roughly) coincide with the performance.
(The reason you need both tracks is that the first clip is (a rare & recently available) best recording of this truly seminal moment in music... ever. )
If you get it right... every hair on your body should be standing smartly to attention.
If you get it wrong... you'll still have heard the best impulsive/live music that you're likely to hear during your time on the ole blue marble... FACT!!!

Got a wee side-project on the bubble atm.
I'm collecting versions of YNWA - got a wee clutch of em now.
Got sent this by a mate who heard what I was up to and it's currently my favourite.

One for the purveyor of fine fitba clips Mr Gee.
I know you've prolly heard it before but I only heard it recently and it's been growin on me summat rotten.
Jimmy should probably avert his eyes towards the end due to an inappropriate Fannies comparison.

I reckon Jimmy and I are about 3-3 in terms of reposts for this track.
I'd justify this despicably sneaky last-minute winner on the grounds of the vid.
