"Reverb" news less than favourable... No

Downbeat Stevie and meself could paper a good-sized room with the glowing crits we've received from various theatres the L and B of the country. Evil or Very Mad

Phrases like "...brilliantly sharp comic dialogue..." and, "...beautifully crafted story-arc..." have been bandied. Shocked

Joyce Branagh (Ken's sister) is gaggin to direct... as is another experienced stage director... bounce

However... still no sign of a mug benevolently far-sighted commissioning producer. Crying or Very sad

D.S.'s agent entered it for a coupla competitions.

We made the top 20 out of 200+ entries in the Verity Bargate...

http://www.sohotheatre.com/writers/programmes/verity-bargate-award/

We made the 'long list' (top 100) out of 2188 entries in the Bruntwood...

http://www.writeaplay.co.uk/2011/10/bruntwood-prize-shortlist-announced/

Apparently they send a a detailed crit of the play if you make the long list...

...already lookin forward to that. Neutral Neutral

Dunno how I feel about the Roses' reunion.

Should be a giggle I s'pose - and it means they'll get played on the radio more.

Oh yeah... and it means a payday for the true genius behind what was ( let's face it) a pretty scuzz-ordinary wee indie-band. Twisted Evil Smile

Go Reni. Champion

Was speakin to the sainted Monshewer McDoormat today about the mood that seems to be abroad atm.

Bishops dropping like flies... public spaces being occupied... the God-like Jeremy Hardy stating the obvious on The News Quiz...

(and giving that smug, oleaginous cunt Matthew Parris a good kicking in the process cheers )

There's a dawning realisation that capitalism is a busted flush we reckoned. Shocked

I felt quite buoyed by the conversation. bounce

This momentary outbreak of optimism was quickly tempered however, by the dawning realisation that by the time this partickler snowball gathers enough momentum to properly change things... I'll be food for worms. Dead No

Still... there's always the demise of the lying, cheating, tax-fiddling, press-pampered bastards South of the river to look forward to. Basketball

Surely tae fuck I'll be able to last that long
