It's Lysette 'shagpot' Anthony and she was in that shite sitcom with the wee baldy cockernee fuck that TV producers used to get in when they couldn't afford to get the other wee mockney fuck that went on to become moderately successful as a barra-boy on Easties....

Seen this mob at Eden Court, right here's an easy question for the Google King. Name the members of this band who went on to greater things with other bands geek

Seen this mob as well at Eden Court, pity it was a few years too late. It was 1987 and the place was full with screaming girls, even had to tell some knobhead to put down his banner or there was gonna be trouble at the mill Twisted Evil

Anyway, this track and many others from Knife and High Land Hard Rain find themselves on whatever fancy new music player or phone I happen to have

Here, Jimmy, great choice (as are many others here): I've got some SP vinyl, plus a lot of their stuff as mp3s. Used to think the guy Grant in the SPs was the same Grant as became Love and Money's lead, but, of course, I was wrong again.

Davie Duncan (SP's lead singer) usedta be in shite Scottish power-pop combo The Cuban Heels if that's any good to ya Gee.

Supported The Rezillos at G'mooth Toon Hall (1st time around) and released a double A-sided single (Downtown/Smok Walk) on the Housewives Choice label (catalogue no JY 001).

I bought it in a moment of weakness....

...or was it in Bruces? scratch Ponder2

That gig in Grangemouth: the band I was in around the time was meant to be playing on that bill, according to our excitable leader Stewart Cuthill, who must be about 70 years old now.

Bruces: you'd be able to pop in there for a record in 2 minutes from yer base, but for it being shut for maybe 20 years....or longer! Crying or Very sad

I saw the Rezillos support the Ramones at the Apollo, 1977? Fuck knows, that was one of the lost years Very Happy

Great gig though. And the Ramones are so hip these days that you can make your children jealous just knowing you were there.
