OK...

Died like a louse in a Russian's beard that last sub-thread Rolling Eyes

Twofers... let's go

Twofer (n) (neologism; mus) A musical item recently popular (about 9 minutes ago) on AA Therapy Group football message boards involving the pairing up of tracks which, though well-matched in terms of "groove" (ibid) and "vibe" (ribbit) may be pleasingly disparate in jong-ruh (cf "genre")

I remember listening to this album in The Rock Garden on a Wednesday night in 1981

We were on our way to see The Cure at Tiffannys

(They were gash Mad )

But with the watery sunlight flooding the room, the cold beer clutched in the mitt and the FA Cup final replay (Spurs vs Man City) playing with the sound down on the wee telly above the bar...

It felt like the best multi-sensual experience (sight, taste and sound) I would ever have in my life

I was nineteen

I'll be 47 in 5 days' time and here I am posting about it on a messageboard

God No

That's depressing No No

(Cracking album tho cheers )

Fawkirk

Not quite the anus of Scotland...

It's a bit further up than that Rolling Eyes

The first band I was ever in used to share a rehearsal room with Robin & Liz in lower Newmarket Street

We always knew if they'd been in before us cos the floor was littered with ice-cream tubs from the Boulevard Cafe downstairs.

I dunno if that's at all relevant scratch

I had a busy day.

I had to drop guns off at Jimmy's... to match some silencers he had.

I had to pick up my brother at the hospital and pick up some stuff for Lois.

(Betcha only Plissken and Quinny get the link between that quote and the following track Very Happy )
