Re: A New Tunes Thread
Heard this over the weekend...
...then again yesterday on the Radio 2 drivetime show
Both times the phrase... " That is some desperately weak shit" popped unprompted into the ole bean.
Thought better of ya Crownybhoy
Still...
You have wedged us music clubbers up with an (almost) obscene amount of stuff recently...
So...
Nope - s'no good... it's still a bucket of monkey's afterbirth
(Ta for the trax tho )

Re: A New Tunes Thread
Why is it every time I hear the intro to one of these kinda "new" tracks...
...I can't stop myself hearing Steve Ryder doing a voice-over on top of it?
"So... lets have a look at how those final Davis Cup rankings worked out... and I warn you...
(Ironic chuckle)
If you care about British tennis...
(ie - If your one of the 2.5% of the British population that goes all gooey at the thought of strawberries, cream, social hierarchies or standing in a fire-bucket, pissed on Pimms No. 5, saluting and singing The Desert Song)
...stay tuned...."
It's Life of Riley by The Lightning Seeds all over again
Did I post this already??
Not the rant...

The Poppillola track is a Sigur Ros rip off Immo, of course it's a rip off sample because nearly every dance track is
Lightning Seeds could have been contenders but Three Lions did the useless cunts for me, they were never going to reach the heights of Pure again anyway

We'll hafta agree to disagree on the Lightning Seeds
Plumstead...
Mainstream...
Tuneful...
Perfect for sports commentary "beds"
It's a prostitution of art
I mean...
Imagine the Fabs agreeing to shill for Hugo Boss???
Never gonna happen...
L'pool produced much more dramatically maverick talent than Monshewer Broudie IMO...

You haven't missed a thing O.
It's a common problem for any poster with an audience as diverse as the Stenny posse.
You could mibbes publish a a pop-up/picture-book version of the previous 8 pages with one-syllable directions for posters who still can't help moving their lips whilst reading and would struggle to empty a boot full of piss if the instructions were printed on the heel.
But why pander to that kinda element when they constitute such a small (1%) , insignificant (really fukkin insignificant), percentage of said audience?
