Re: current tunes i am enjoying
I always like to click the vid just the once and try and guess the artist/song
(If you click it twice, it takes you to the Youtube page and the track details are revealed)
I hoped track1 was The Fountains of Wayne cos it sounded really groovy and I like TFOW and so I hoped it was them being groovy and not some college band - like - oooh let's say Weezer - who I find as tweely irritating as They Must Be Giants - the most irritatingly twee band on the F of the P.
And yet - now i know it's Weezer - it's grooviosity remains unimpaired. :o
It's a big fukkin groovy hit!!! :o
(Mental note to self - don't be such a cunt about Weezer and their ilk)
Heard track 2 hunnersa times on 6 Music and thought 'zackly the same as yerself O
Stone-cold groove, Bernard Manning lyrics
Hmmm
Is "gittin down" gender-specific?
Is it possible to "shake one's booty" in way that is inoffensive - especially to the elderly demographic?
(cf - "Only If It's In The Kitchen (Why dancing by over 40s is just plain wrong)" - Gladstone, Greene, Sevvy et al )
This un's pretty tasty too tho...
...it's so confusing - what would Henrik do d'ye think?
(Mental note to self - Watch out for naughty mates)
Track 3 is one of those tracks which is really easy to dance to, nowhere near as good as "Where's Your Head At" and sounds like it was plunked out by a big factory somewhere in the SE of England that averages a production rate of about 86.7 units per calendar month for such cultural commodities.
(cf Why Miserable Old Cunts Should Never Be Allowed To Hold Forth On Music - Greene)
(Mental note to self - Try not to be so scathing about depressingly generic dance stuff, say something nice to Ono)
Nice picks man

Guess what shoes i've got on at the moment?
this has so many memories for me, it was ma daughters fave at the time, and they played live in the stadium in Seville, and i had to phone her up to let her hear them over the phone, while filming it on my camera. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=RFzyYYZsxGc

All cyclists are cumguzzlers, FACT!
and the taste it leaves in their mouths, blunts their musical taste.

Re: current tunes i am enjoying
Cheers, sevvy!
That Skynyrd choon just reminded me to buy their Freebird-The Movie DVD. Most of it was filmed at Knebworth in 1976 and I was there!
And, yes I am an old basturt! 50 last Friday, since you ask ( or maybe not! ). What kind of board is this that doesn't advertise the passing of another year by it's members, to allow the rest of us to pretend that we actually care?
