Stranger in Blue Suede Shoes
Live version. Kevin Ayers was a lazy bastard. But a great talent.

Luvly bitta Gibson SG work from the dude with the receding hairline and the tragically long over-compensation down the back.
I hate talented lazy bastards
Crowding in on my fukkin act

Immo...this is for you!
I love soul sounds. 'Do you like soul music?' 'No'. 'Let's do the trouser press'.

Can Blue Men Sing The Whites? by the Bonzo Dog Band. I couldn't find a good version of 'Trouser Press'.

Vivian Stanshall
This is my last (for tonight)...Viv S was such a funny man. Even the method of his death was whimsical.

Thanks Gee
Things always get a bit esoteric when you cast up on the music thread.
Gotta be a good thing

Re: Great Lost Tracks - An Everyday Series
"I believe...
..in the hallelujah chorus of the shopping malls
Who say we can't, we know we shan't but of course... we shall
I have seen - I believe.
I believe...
That we are forever something which is incomplete
We betray ourselves for nothing and the words are our conceit...
I never thought I'd string along...
I never thought I'd last this long..."

Re: Great Lost Tracks - An Everyday Series
I used to know Robin and Liz pretty well.
I never really got into their stuff tho... a failing on my part I know
I do remember that Robin used to like drinking in the Burns Bar (as was) because
(a) They served Fosters in there (He was a massive Nick Cave fan)
(b) They had a stock of sweeties for sale behind the bar (He was a massive Maltesers fan and a bit chunky)

Every now and then the mardy one posts something that makes you forgive her
terrible demeanour, pant wetting, troutness and facial hair . Top tune young lady.
But how come immo gets away with calling you Trev? It's down right favouritism.(Insert flounce smiley).
