There was a record fair at the indoor market beside the college today.

Due to a surfeit of limpet-like studes and administrative BS... I was only able to get there 20 mins before it closed

Still plenty of time to get tempted by a Richard Hell 12" Blank Generation and a Gen X pic-bag copy of Ready Steady Go mind

I ended up with a 4 quid copy of Heaven Up Here by The Bunnies (mint condition, original inner, textured sleeve)

And a wee two quid gem on the Chiswick label

(One of the most aesthetically pleasing of all the record labels )

Another Chiswick chart-topper (nearly)...

No static at all...

I got a hot ticket to see this lot at The Playhouse later this year

I'm positively moist with anticipation

I remember seein this on TOTP a coupla hundred years ago and gettin very excited by it.

Still sounds pretty good

Funny how that excitement thing kinda just melts away over the years tho innit

Y'know...

If you slough off your received knowledge about all the farty, stereotypical elements of 'Eavy Mettul

(and ignore some of the right-wing, socially-inadequate dandruff-magnets who champion it obviously )

Then this next sounds like a ridiculously ennervating, collective, full-tilt attempt at the world land-speed record (with guitars) (and crap duds)
