Re: Great Lost Tracks - An Everyday Series
(Kinda) linked to the previous.
Love this fillum.
This scene always gives me the fear tho.
Too many bad memories.
Incidentally... it's Toots' works night out this Friday.
The venue for it has a grand pianner in the lounge and Toots has a video capture facility on her camera.
Just sayin likes

Re: Great Lost Tracks - An Everyday Series
Lovely stuff from the sainted Monshewer G.
I've definitely posted this before.
But (oddly) never on a night when one player head-butted an opposition player and inexplicably failed to get red-carded.
Funny that eh?
(Not funny 'ha-ha' obviously )
Best version by about three furlongs.

Meant to say I love that Band track Immo. Given my ongoing conversion to country and pre 80's music here's Creedence

Still grooving (in an embarrasingly middle-aged way obv) to this one.
Definitely a grower.

Re: Great Lost Tracks - An Everyday Series
Viewing instructions required for this one.
1. Do NOT watch wanky animation during playback.
2.Close your eyes and picture your own Daffy. (Stop sniggering O, Dhubghaill )
3. All of the fun is over by the first 40 seconds - however, if you're not laughing uncontrollably after 'thuddenly" (0.30)... you're not listening to it right.

You should know that's Crown's theme tune, FD. He sends it to us regularly by PM. It's because he's a cunt.

I see. Well I don't like hidden messages in my songs - if it's about cunts it should say so!

Re: Great Lost Tracks - An Everyday Series
I've taken to meandering drunkenly through youtube, here we are with the Robert Cray Band. Seen them a couple of times in Edinburgh, once with BB King who is the daddy. Cray should never have introduced a brass section to the band because they were fuckin good, maybe great even

Just saw this on VH1 when channel flicking, think I bought one of their albums on a 5 for £4 deal at woolies when vinyl was going out the door. Got Warm & Soulful, the Best of Garnet Mimms (which some bitch stole) and Kaleidoscope by Ride as well:;;CoolDancer::
Nice tune

Re: Great Lost Tracks - An Everyday Series
It's a fuckin abomination is what it is James - I can't bleev a man of such great musical taste (and Swansway) could post such muck
Totally fucked up an outstanding PJ/Cray opening to p27 an'all
Then of course there's the outstanding charge of not laughing at his Holiness to consider.
Hmmmm
You could try three hail Coisty's for the ecumenical lapse I suppose...
But watching this wee YT nugget (and following episodes) will definitely absolve you of the sin against music that is 80s synthdisco.
Go in peace.

Re: Great Lost Tracks - An Everyday Series
I've watched the vid immo, like Johnny Cash the Godfather is more and more an favourite the older I get. The thing is, there's so much more to Browns music than a 20 Greatest Hits album most of which I don't particularly like
Anyway, I've posted this before but I'll likely post it lots of times more. This is the definitive version and its fuckin outstanding
Jeffrey Daniels, he's no a bad cunt though eh

When I heard him introduce it last week I thought... '...in French - so fuckin what?'
But yer right - it's a great versh.
