Really should be cycling (have you seen the weather though?), not teasing the mardy one, she'll snap and get me one day.
Mo says the likeness is uncanny.

Ono - stand yer ground, girl!
Licker - fuck off with the SF garbage. This thread and the five-pages-for-the-two-old-has-beens have saved this board of your's recently. Tosspot.
Although Bewlay and Sev on Obama was a minor classic

X-ray vision - every adolescent boy's fantasy
Mind-reading - you wouldn;t need it with most of the half-wits on here, but it could be handy.
Yep, mind-reading. Deffo.

Re: Which would you rather have ?
Most any fukker you meet is gony have such transparent motives that you'll be twitchin after only a few seconds.
Unless you're a gullible cunt like
Who needs the ability to read minds?... nuthin worth reading in most of em anhow
I'd go for X-Ray vision
That way you could
1. See sexy people in the nip any time you want (voluntary)
2. See grotesque people in general - and a spectacularly grisly 60-year-old work colleague in particular...
(think Isadora Duncan/Ken Dodd after a night on the skids crossed with an enormous, badly made candy floss )
...inthe nip (involuntary)
3. Go mad from 2.
4. Commit suicide by plucking eyeballs from head in a Ray Miland stylee
Perfect!

See the problem with that one is that no-one knows that X-Ray vision would just let you see through someone's clothing (yes yes I know we're in shaggy territory here, but bear with me).
What if you reached for the X Ray specs, and ended up viewing her........skeleton. "Oh look at the ribs on that ffs, I'm getting a semi"....

I apologise Professor Sperms
Of course I should have defined more clearly the terms of my proposition
What I envisaged was some kind of portable, face-worn optical interface which allowed the user to effect a change in the power of the device through the use of a rheostatic switch mechanism.
Or as MacWilliam, Mason, Knuckledragger et al suggest in their seminal sociological study "Looking at Burds In The Nip - A Dialectical Approach"
"...ye could pit a wee volume control hingmy oan the side ay thum"
Apologies my learned friend
Yours
Professer Greene (defrocked)

Academe

Re: Which would you rather have ?
OK OK
What would you rather have:
The ability to swim underwater without needing to come up for air?
OR
to be able to play the harmonica like Larry Adler ?

Re: Which would you rather have ?
I remember seeing a mouse orchestra one time during a summer solstice festival.
It was a kinda folky/classical thing set up by the Socialist Mice Against Cats (Kirkintilloch Chapter) co-operative - or S.M.A.C.K.C. as it was clumsily known.
The gimmick was that all of the mice in the orchestra were members of the same family.
I remember talking to the conductor backstage and commenting on the piano-playing mouse who had caught my eye.
"Ah yes", he said, "that's our Monica... she's a mouse organ"
Arf I say... Arf!!!
PS
I'm goin for underwater swimming
Like flying
Only better
