Weird problem with the pc

Ever time i try to type a word with 2 leters the same(like leters) in it, it wont let me do it, i have to wait a few seconds, or go back to it later, anyone know why its started doing it?

Try changing the batteries on the keyboard?

i did, just sems strange that its only on the double leters,also though, when i pres the back arow to delete a leter or whatever, its shots and deletes about ten. :-(

Maybe the keyboard settings? Or perhaps a lock button is accidentally on? Like Number Lock etc.? Sometimes does weird things.

Can't remember where keyboard settings are on Windows PC Sev but probably Control Panels?
