But Incognito groove it up lovely cheers cheers

They can't lay claim to givin the 12-year-old Lenny Kravitz his first big break behind the kit Shocked

Prolly about the fourteenth time this has appeared on the music thread

We apologise to viewers/listeners for this breakdown in transmission from Bladdered FM, but your requests have been coming in thick and fast.

(Although mostly thick it has to be said)

Anyhow... one of our more "senior" broadcasters has had a bit of a "moment" with the station's drinks cabinet and finds himself all of a fuddle. Blouse I'm sure he'll be feeling better very shortly. Blouse Blouse

In the meantime, here's some music.

Go on...

Sneer.

Then gimme a list of reasons why this aint as life-affirmingly funky as "ABC" by the J5.

Is it cos they is white?

(And suburban, West-coast, middle class mall-rats... obviously Rolling Eyes Very Happy )

I have very fond memories of dancing wildly to this one in a Blackpool dive in the company of Toots, Plisskers and Mrs Plisskers and during the course of a vigorous observance of the September weekend .

We were all heroically spladgered

But... I'm almost certain that every member of the party indulged in the cutting of the rug cheers ... even Plisskers! Shocked Shocked Funky Chicken Shocked

Unfortunately , the DJ followed it up with Born Slippy (full-length versh) and I suggested that we all "stay up" for that one...

The rest is (messy) history pale

Woooft!!

The single-fetishist's single

A sine qua non of sorts

(I loved this song first time I heard it. Then I saw the video and was naive enuff to believe that this was indeed the revenge of the well-read (red?) Mall-Rats. (The fantastically cool physiognomy of the lead singer was just a bonus)Burn down the culture factories!! cheers Twisted Evil cheers )

Then I found out the writer/singer was a (n admittedly talented) hack who pumped this sorta power-pop chaff out as easy as farting. Sad

Still fukkin brilliant tho cheers cheers Laughing

For Falmer/Brutus Gold

You may sneer

You may even feel up to a snipe from the sidelines

But consider this...

David Dundas is the man responsible for the Channel 4 musical "ident"

(You know the one... Duuuuh, duuuuh, det-dehhhhh)

A very nice little earner.

And that's before you consider that he is heir to the title of Sir Bufton Tufton of Home-Counties-shire and consequently dripping in oof already.

Just goes to prove...

...something. I s'pose. Smile

This is Bladdered FM... broadcasting from the Darvel, Blackhill and Craigkelly transmitters... signing off.

Don't forget to switch off your computers and piss on the fire to put it out.

And remember...

We still love you madly Very Happy

(Hums Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond/Take The A-Train medley in a Scottish accent)
