Saw The Pastels use this as a top-class conceptual gag at a gig in The Venue (Sauchiehall Street) once.

Kept us (the crowd) hangin around drinkin pishy, over-priced, watered-down lager for an hour-and-a-half before they deigned to appear.

Then they played the above as their intro music.

How we laffed. Rolling Eyes

How we pelted the fukk out of them with plastic beer tumblers Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

How we hollered...

"Away and get a proper job ya bowl-heidit wee fukk ye!!!"

Oh ha-ha...

very funny...

it is to laugh... Rolling Eyes

"Waiting... waiting... "

Deffo for A. Laughing

"What is wrong in my life

That I must get drunk every night"

(my italics Laughing Laughing )

Quote's crass, track's class...

Rolling Eyes

"I am sick and I am dull and I am plain.
How dearly I’d love to get carried away.
Oh, but dreams have a knack of just not coming true.
And time is against me now"

It starts out innocently with posting a few (bad) music videos in "dipso's corner", and before you know it, you're a washed up fucking idiot, pounding arses for your next bottle of vodka (2 bottles of 750ml Absolut for £18 at Asda James, bargain) like immo.

Drink is evil James, don't be taken in by immo's attempt to glamorise it, escape while you can. TJ Right

La Vien Rose is fantastic, and I'm eternally grateful to you for introducing me to it, you're a true ging-her gent.

Very nice price for Absolute there Crown but seen as Tesco has an iron like grip of the supermarket trade in Inversneckie I'm still waiting on Asdas appeal on their planning application. The stores not going to be built by Crimbo Sad

Manged to get a couple of litres of Smirnoff outta Tesco for £20 so they're not total cunts Very Happy

We don't have an ASDA either James, but my mate dropped me round 2 bottles this after.

2 litres of Smirnoff for £20 is a bargain, nipped into Tesco today, but that offer is over. Sad

Vodka is a drink fit only for homosexuals,
dead-eyed, plooky, mouth-breathers,
dazzlingly-delightful, desperately-dumb, bright young things
and jakeys who would drink anything with an a.b.v. ratio of 10% or over. Rolling Eyes

Whisky, strycchnine, gloss varnish and soda...

...that's a man's drink.

You die. Rolling Eyes

Obviously. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

But you have a lovely finish. Dead

Ay theng yow.

Mike Garson

Piano genius

David Bowie

Standard all-round, general-purpose kinda genius.

It was always going to be a potentially explosive alchemy

But who knew it would turn out this good Shocked

As were these

Dreamy cheers

That Damon Albarn'd get it an'all given the right amount of drink consumed, a window of opportunity and a prevailing wind. pirat

I'd even consider Alex James at a push Laughing
