As much as I love a theme.... Laughing Laughing Rolling Eyes

I feel it may be time to abandon the constricting agenda and cut loose a bit.... Cool

David Gedge... wunna the good guys...

...like that's gony be any use to him Laughing Laughing

Oh why do you catch my eye then turn away?
I thought we said all the things we had to say
Shaun said he saw you holding hands with your new friend
How does it feel to know you've just won again?

Don't give me that
Because you were seen
Everyone thinks he looks daft but you can have your dream (ohh)

Can I keep that book of yours and maybe this one too?
Oh sure, I'll bring them round tomorrow if that will do
Was it really full? They must have queued there since half past three
Oh I didn't go, was it a good film? Well that's just me

Don't give me that
Because you were seen
Everyone thinks he looks daft but you can have your dream

Oh you can have a dream

Guess who I saw by your old house just the other day
That kid we used to think was mad, but now he looks okay
I think someone's here, look out the window, I can't make out who
Oh I'd love to stay but I've really got so many things to do

Don't give me that
Because you were seen
Everyone thinks he looks daft but you can have your dream

Don't give me that
Because you were seen
Everyone thinks he looks daft but you can have your dream (ohh)

Thought I'd post the lyrics - just to make ole Snakey feel at home - he loves the lyrics that boy Very Happy

The Right Honourable Davey Henderson Laird of East Angular

Proof positive that the backwash of "Ye Puncke" was a much more interesting (and impactful) cup of meat than the rigidly Stalinist early stuff

I know I over-use the phrase

But this is truly a fukkin glorious racket

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Y'know I think YouTube is getting even better than I remember it! :o

I got made to take this E.P. off one Sunday morning by my (totally irreligious) Dad.

Apparently it was a "bloody foul-mouthed record to be playing on a Sunday and GETITAFFTHESTEREOGRAMRIGHTNOW!!! BEFOREAHUVTYGETUPTIYEE!!! Mad "

At the time I suspected philistinism and a mistaken belief on his part that the word "master's" was, in fact "basterts"

In hindsight I suspect that the industrial-strength hangover and the snotty, ingrate 16-year-old son combo might've been a contributory factor

Very Happy

See Crown putting the 'Tricky Trees' ground up, knowing I'm a sad anorak for stadia, and you, immo, putting a Fall vid on, are you trying to draw me out of hiding? ;)

Thanks, for it worked! Razz

A thank-you for the biggest laff on the thread so far

A wee nuggety gem from the arse-end of the 70s for G.

(Or for anyone who's heard Another Girl Another Planet just that once too often ;))

Woozily-Smackily, shimmery-glimmer from Peter the Pet (a junior world chess champion - FACT!) and his baldy & unlovely cohorts

Fan-flippin-tastic work on the sax an'all

Shocked

That concludes tonight's broadcast from Radio Immo :rendeer:

We hope you've enjoyed this evening's collection of fab tunes from yesteryear, obscure socio-political archive clips and barely supressed bile and frustration. :rendeer: :rendeer:

Remember to re-set your VCR timings for Late Call and Airwolf..geek

Also - if you live alone - you may want to get out more... join a club or society... something like that. No
