Been Through Some Tough times of Late
My Windows XP desktop has breathed its last, think the hard drive expired but I'm gonna see if I can salvage anything off it. My laptop is also living on borrowed time, the fucking thing wont charge. To that end I've taken the plunge and bought a Macbook, oh the fucking shame. please don't hate me crown
Anyways I'm thinking about getting a vpn, where else would I be looking for some sensible advice on something such as this but from you shower of rogues. Anyone got one?

Re: Been Through Some Tough times of Late
Look after Macs for two or three people, but moan constantly to their owners about them, all that chrome in the UI hurts my eyes.
What are you hoping to gain from using a VPN, James? If your ISP is blocking your access to the Pirate Bay, you could try installing Tor for Mac https://www.torproject.org/docs/tor-doc-osx.html.en Navigate to the file you want with the Tor browser, then copy the torrent link into you torrent client. That’s what I do, as my ISP blocks the Pirate Bay, but as I’m not a homosexual (just very camp) I use Windows.
You should be able login to forums with Tor.
Spinrite will probably cure your hard drive issues.
Laptop charging ports are easy to change (though it’s likely the charger at fault) and normally only cost a tenner. I’d do it for you mate if you didn’t live so far away, another non paying client makes no difference when you’re already in the poorhouse.

Re: Been Through Some Tough times of Late
Thanks for the reply crown, I thought you'd wander by eventually
I thought the VPN would keep my nosey BB provider at bay, I can access the sites I need apart from IP Torrents. It was only when I tried to log into What did I realise I'd get punted for using the VPN. Not sure what I'll use it for now, do you think I'll get my £24 back?
The laptop is pretty fucked anyway but its not a charger issue. Don't think its worth repairing TBH

Re: Been Through Some Tough times of Late
If you wish to protect your privacy use a VPN, but most suppliers keep logs. Not a problem for what you’re accessing, arboreal porn doesn’t carry a prison sentence.
Tor should gain you access to torrent sites and won’t get you banned. You’re on your own installing it on a Mac though, I have no interest, sorry.
£24 is a king’s ransom to me, James.

Re: Been Through Some Tough times of Late
Looks like that money is a goner, shame really I could have bought six bottles of Kooliburra Shiraz from Aldi with that
Everything's so fucking complicated with this machine. Thankfully google is full of advice for hopeless fuckers like me. Can't get the blutooth to work properly though, despite trying all the fixes recommended online. You'd think Apple would have got that right but apparently it only happens to some people
Not that you give a fuck of course

Re: Been Through Some Tough times of Late
Did you tell the surgeon you were the ging-herr prince and demand he wield his scalpel with respect, James?
Next time you need hospital treatment (and avoid it at all costs, especially medicines and vaccines, they’re mostly poison {slight hyperbole maybe}) ask to receive it at Adambrooke’s, they have the best looking hospital staff in the UK. I was there today, it takes one’s breath away.
Have a photo of Car Park No1, as you can’t really photograph the nurses.
One trusts you’re recovering from your op?
As you’re now halfway to homosexuality, well you’ve bought a Mac, I’ve sent you a present, it’s 2.3 GB in size and has “Mo Zip1.zip” on the tag, but don’t worry about that.

Thanks for the book, though not sure I'll have time to read it. Just started on Game of thrones again after quite a break

Tempted to show this thread to the local pork, it reads like two paedos trying to work their way round the dark web.
What a pair of arseholes. You sure it was a femur shave, and not just "voluntary" chem castration, Jimmy? And if you can't work a Mac, just give it back. They're strictly for people with opposable thumbs*
(*no offence, Sev)

who stole you're scone Mo?
It took some time getting used to after decades of windows use. Thankfully the latest update seems to have made the hunk of silver shit more like windows, either that or I've got used to it
Femur shave indeed, I've got a hip made out of old toilets. The whole thing was chopped off
Did I tell you I was contemplating an Iphone?

Goodness, it must have been upsetting enough for readers to see my tits, the thought of your arse may push the gentler ones over the edge, James. Of course the light footed readers might be most enthusiastic at the prospect.
