Tag removed, been on a trip

Been exploring: here’s some photies!

Some culture of course: this wasn’t Yorkshire Sculpture Park.



This is the older stuff, not a Gormley in sight.



And the old library: curiously, there were no books in it.



Then I popped down to the Camlik Locomotive Museum which had steam trains on display including one by Robert

Stevenson, and quite a few monster German locomotives:





Big on statues in that part of the world: some are exceptionally ingenious.

The local beer: £1.60 for a 500ml bottle at 5% in the pubs.



Cheese is popular (but not very flavoursome).



So where was I? Away visiting my relatives in Turkey, where it’s the custom to wear a big flag on your head.

As for the grub, they could make an effort to make it sound a little bit exotic .... Cheese on Plate's hardly gonna drag them in
