Gayphone Vs The Godphone In London Town
Well as you know, every CD results in derision as my phone of the moment is made to look rubbish by the CP’s gayphone, which of course amuses her greatly. So last week I blew the next CD’s budget on an HTC Desire, that soon wiped the smile off her face.
I won’t lie, for using google maps, little apps like “around me” and general user experience, the gayphone is still the best phone around. The HTC is slick, but not up to gayphone standards, It’s pathetic that a 3 year old phone hasn’t been bettered yet.
Gayphone screen is rubbish compared with the Desire, but it’s bigger, and like I always say, the gayphone isn’t powerful enough for me.
Weather was shocking, so not many photos were taken, we spent most of the time dodging showers in pubs. That’s not entirely true, just as many pubs would have been visited if it was a glorious, sunny weekend.
Here are all the pubs we visited on a google map:

You can see the distance between pubs, and they were all arrived at on foot, too tight to use the tube.
My favourite bar was The Boheme Kitchen And Bar. We ended Saturday night in here. It was a really relaxed, eclectic place and not overly expensive, think two vodkas were just over seven pounds,

Apparently I’d said we weren’t going to leave the above until at least 2am, at 1 minute past 2am the CP told me it was curfew time and we had to go, grrrrrrrrrr (bad).
Stayed here:

It was alright. The CP found a 2 for 1 deal so it was £130 for two nights, bargain for the location.
The Saatchi museum is a fantastic space, with some really good exhibits, I urge you to go if you’re into modern art. They’re not precious and have no problem with photos, but I was asked not to drink in there. This was water before you start.

London is obviously not a cycling friendly city, bastards.
My sister lives in London, so asked her where to go near the hotel on Sunday evening and she suggested Covent Garden. The fucking place was closed. Not a bar open past 10:30. Most cosmopolitan city in England my arse, it was easier to get a late drink in Leeds.
Ended up in the Roundhouse, but that closed at midnight, so went back to the hotel bar.

Think this photo was taken on Sunday night and believe it or not the CP is hiding under the hotel pillow avoiding the camera. Either that or I was trying to smoother her.
Random food pictures:
Forgot to take a camp boxing pose pic, but here’s the thing you’ve all been waiting for, the CP’s latest pair of shoes:
She loves all this shoe talk, don’t know if she’ll pose for anymore after learning Jimmy has a foot fetish though.
And here are some bonus ones from leeds:
You better not be whacking off over the picture of my proper man’s shoes James.
FIN
