Posted this on CM but will probably have a bit more luck on here:

In the age of the Ipod I'm thinking about changing my partially goosed separates system. The thought of getting a B&W Zepellin has hopefully been banished from Mrs M's head. I want to keep my Arcam CD player and add an amp and floorstanders along with a docking station. The budget max would be £400 for the amp & speakers really pushing it. I plan to put it on the telly stand and maybe connect it into the TV system though it would only be one set of speakers

For amps have thought about a NAD C325BEE, Marantz PM6002, Denon PMA 700AE or Cambridge Audio Azur 340A SE

Floorstanders either Mission M33i, M34i, MV6 or MV8, Tannoy HTS 200 or Mordaunt Short Avant 914i

Any thoughts and where could I get what I need cheap

Thanks in advance

PS Had considered the Sony Giga Juke but reviews are mediocre Crying or Very sad

Give this forum a read James, they are hellish snobs but the information is second to none:

I've got a Fisher 14 channel equaliser in black for sale if you're interested, it's only about 18 years old. Very Happy
