The Killers are pish
Sometimes someone just has to say this sort of thing.
Utter sub-REM 80s' retread pish.

Re: The Killers are pish
True that
I don't care what the blessed Stuart Maconie sez
Those Plumstead, mainstream Snow-Patrol-wannabe fukks sound like Chris De Fukkin Burgh
Youngsters today (anyone under 30 to you and me Mo ) have no fukkin idea whatsoever how to behave impulsively or in a "rock & roll" fashion
Please tell me you didn't see The Rev this week.. as well as Laffin Len I mean... you jammy cuntfuck... I mean

No, but he's on Later with Jools tonight.
Saw him at the GRCH a couple of years back. Good show, very slick but a bit too slick if you know what I mean ?
Gotta say Laffin Len was a lot better than I expected, Immo. Also he had a neat Spanish guitarist (also played the lute) called Javier Mas. Great band helped overall.

Re: The Killers are pish
I love Len
His poetry's fukkin hilarious too.
there are heroes in the seaweed
there are children in the morning
they are leaning out for love
they will lean that way forever
while Suzanne holds the mirror
I remember hearing that Greatest Hits album for the first time.
In a leaky Pollokshields flat.
And thinking I was finally an adult.
My names Immo...
...and I'm a fucking idiot.

Re: The Killers are pish
He played Suzanne last night. And most of that album.
Also a couple of recitals. And bits from Ladies Man, among others. Someone had a lot of cameras there - either a live video or a broadcaster I think.

Re: The Killers are pish
Did he do "Don't Go Home Without Your Hard On"?
I think we should be told
Wasn't this tour prompted by his pressing need to pay his alimony bills after his notorious libidinous adventures?....
...the lucky, lucky bastard

Re: The Killers are pish
No he didn't do "Hard On", but hey he is 74 now ffs.
And the line is actually "Don't go home with your hard-on; it won't melt in the rain...."
He doesn't have alimony. His problem is his ex agent stole $5m from his pension and has refused to pay it back even after Cohen won a court case against her.
Obviously he didn't shag her I'm guessing. Or he did.
