For sale - Peace of mind.

House-broken, agnostic, gsoh, heavy smoker.

Enjoys long, pointless rambles through yawning chasms of irrelevance.

No time wasters. Smile

May be prepared to consider part-exchange for 70s-retro Kenwood Chef Deluxe.

Watched that Arena documentary on Harry Georgeson this week.

Beautifully shot and thought-provokingly moving I thought.

(At least until Toots stormed in halfway through bein all sarky about 'dirty hippies' and so forth Rolling Eyes )

This next one's for the patron saint of Stennydonia.

The Blessed Sevmeister. Bow Sid James

Me and Toots' salutations and good vibes are wingin towards ya at this time man. Kiss Smile

I heard that that Noel Fielding's got an oil painting of a horrendously aged and decrepit Ronnie Wood tucked away in his attic. Suspect

According to my source, Ron sat for the portrait only hours before this performance. Shocked Smile

A perfect illustration, not only of the esoteric/incendiary nature of music/lyrics in the late 1970s...

...but also of the pathetically inadequate, milk-drinkin, social-workery response to this cultural earthquake by mainstream telly. Mad

I mean to say... Paul (Fuckin) Burnett as a cultural pundit?!!! Swearing

He was only a few months after recording the bucket of monkey's afterbirth that was 'Convoy UK' under the moniker Laurie lingo & the Dipsticks FFS! Swearing Swearing

Feck me -that teachin mallarkey can really stick it in and break it off at times. No

Totally confident I'd delivered an excellent session on Media Law (Ethical issues and Regulatory bodies)...

(So contemporary it featured a 12 minute piece from this week's Newsnight Scotland!! Shocked cheers )

Then, in a post class-convo with one of the students... she fronts up and asks - "...so what is the Leveson inquiry? Oh yeah and who's Milly Dowler? "

Shocked

Suspect

Rolling Eyes No

Luckily... Ms Waymon is always available to soothe the (sweary Mad ) academic soul. Smile

There's always a 'long' track after Baldy 's Popmaster quiz on Radio 2.

You can almost picture Der Brucemeister shauchlin up the corridor to the cludge: Rolled up copy of the Racing Post under his oxter, 20 B&H in his pocket and a set of leather-backed horse-brasses to chew on... Laughing

He played 'Killing of George' today. Champion

Which led me to....

This! scratch

"...I may live to regret tonight's copious indulgence in the herbal cigarette and the grain alcohol.

That notwithstanding, I am extremely keen to indulge my passion for the heartfelt warblings of the mid-period Mr D.

I would consider this 'Horses Douvers' fair warning and advise patrons who may dismayed by same to git tae fuck oot ma road before the 'plat du jour' rolls up.
