Can you direct me to an easy site informing me how to embed sound onto a pdf document?
Or tell me?

You need the full version of Acrobat, not just reader, and I use 128kbp/s MP3 files.

I write the document in Word. Add a spare blank page or two at the end to give yourself some leaway, you can always delete the pages if not needed, then convert to a PDF file.

Please say your next question isn't how to embed video, that's a right pain to explain (converting to the correct format).

Converting video to different formats I've found easy enough, but I'm stuck with this embedding task. Can and do you embed the sound onto the word document before you convert to pdf? I've had a wee look, but was puzzled.

You embed the sound in Acrobat, not Word.

Plan and complete your document in Word, so all you need to do in Acrobat is add the multi-media elements, editing in Acrobat is a bit of a pain if you're not au-fait with it (which I'm not really) Glad.

I may have written a tutorial, will look when I get chance, haven't got time to write another if not, and Jimmy couldn't afford it.

If you're totally stuck send me the PDF (or Word document) and the sound files and I'll embed them for you, as long as there aren't loads of them.
