Johnny Winter - still alive
Weird gig tonight. the old guy can barely walk, but he sits on a chair and still plays some wonderful blues guitar....poorly attended gig tonight, missed a few old classics and great versions of It's All Over Now and Highway 61.
Here's Johnny and his band:

That's because Crown Licker demanded it and then ignored it. He's like a spoilt child, without the goofy charm but with the full nappies.

Re: Johnny Winter - still alive
Jarvis Cocker next, Crown. Giving George Thorogood a miss.
I'd go to a gig every week if it was a bit cheaper tbh. I love live music.
July's a funny one....got Springsteen at Hampden, then Laurie Anderson & Lou Reed in Manchester. Variety is the spice of life. Pretenders playing ABC, unfortunately same night as Bruce.
At least I post my gig pics.......

Christ, I break a bone more often than I go to a gig, and always post pics of that.
Respect mate, you certainly do get to a few gigs. Did suggest the Jarvis gig to my mate.

Did I mention that I have a ticket for Steely Dan at the Playhouse on the 28th of next month?

Have you considered changing your underarm deodorant?

Re: Johnny Winter - still alive
It might work on your twat too, Crown. But I'd recommend trying it on a small patch of skin first, in case of a reaction.

Re: Johnny Winter - still alive
I'm not gony swap - if that's what you're anglin at
You stick with your gut-bucket, dungaree-wearin, flattened 7th blues tradition...
...I'll be sipping a Martini (in the proper-shaped glass mind) with the rest of the hip, urban, jazz-tinged, grit-eatin public in The Playhouse

Don't mind Crown, Immo. Remember that deep down he's a hoopy like you and me. This "hun" charade must be especially difficult for him today, poor sod.

You may have a point about Mayall. Two great albums, but they were more than 40 years ago.....
