Talking of Robert Cray, did you know he had a part in Animal House Immo? He was the base player in Otis Day & The Knights

Re: Original Versions You May never Have Heard
I wasn't aware of that James.
I do know that he did a great live versh of "Bad Influence" on one of those NME freebie EPs that were kickin about in the 1980s.
As for Shaggy's gripe about havin to keep this thread goin himself.
Tccchaa
Come back and complain after you (and Aslan ) have been keeping the site's main music thread goin almost single-handed for 35 pages.
In the meantime... please accept this insanely generous contribution.

Re: Original Versions You May never Have Heard
Seen him a couple of times Immo, once at the Playhouse with the Legendary BB King and both were immense. The second time was in Aberdeen at the Capitol I think and he'd found a brass section, the Memphis Horns they were called. Personally I thought they were a pair of cunts who overshadowed guitar playing and fantastic voice

I knew what that last post was gonna be before I even opened the thread.
Got a bit caught up with marking and quiz prep last night gents.
Will try to remember to send it to you both before leaving for the big Christmas Spectacklier Quiz tonight.
