Obama's speech, great in rhetoric, lacking in substance? Empty Obama's speech, great in rhetoric, lacking in substance?

Post by bewlay Thu Nov 06, 2008 6:15 am

Took time out to listen to it today then later Iistened to Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" speech and also Robin Cook's resignation speech. Now they were speeches of substance.

It's the essence of comedy

Pomposity pricked by a killer line.

(It's why I retain the services of Plissken - he's very good at that sort of thing... mind- he's had a lot of practice Very Happy Very Happy )

The James Brown bit was just cos I like James Brown

And because I was hopelessly arseholed

Naturally Cool

Crap response Sev. You've given Bewls time to climb back on his high horse there Very Happy

Probably thinking about Australia has poisoned your response-synapses. You haven't even got there and already they've ruined you.

oh dear. i seem to cut a lot deeper than i intended, your obsession with arseholes is worrying mate, see a phsyciatrist, or at the very least, a proctologist, or on the other hand, you could try and loosen the drawstring roon yer mooth, and join in with a few funnies yersel, i canny believe all the years you have been on here, and you still dont get it.
but always give the audience what they want.......................................

Obama's speech, great in rhetoric, lacking in substance? Neuroticarseholes

and mo, mibbes your right, it will be my first holiday in 2 years, so you may be witness to a few Antipodean type posts in the next ten weeks, or more specifically, crown will.
oh, by the way bewls, just to get away from arseholes, im up at the hospital tomorrow getting looked at for a circumcision. Rolling Eyes
