For the first hour and a half anyways... 
It mostly comprised the contents of a cassette he recently found when helping his Mam move house.
A tape he'd made of a John Peel show 36 years ago (
) to the day.
Full thing - Intros... between-song nonsense... even the Grinderswitch finale...
I hadta dash away the manly nostalgic tear on more than one occasion.

I found an old cassette tape recently that had a simon bates including our choon on it and jimmy savilles 70,s show. Feck knows where it came from, but i know where it went.
