I was waiting for someone in the pub and thought, goodness, I’d sooner be in Falkirk than this affront to my eyes. Then I realised. Of course I’d sooner be in Falkirk, it’s only 20 minutes on the train from wonderful Glasgow. The nearest civilised place to Lincoln is ugly Notts at 50 plus minutes.
