Leicester, Saturday
Favourite bar was Bassa:

It’s a lovely little bar, and is where I’d take mo after he’d bought me lunch.
If you’re staying at the Ibis (which is clean and functional) it’s only a five minute walk away.
They played Moony – “Dove”, which I haven’t heard for ages.
There was a band playing in “The Looking Glass”, which was not a bad pub.
Ended up in “Fan Club”. It was rubbish. Pretty much like this picture of it:

I bought a new scarf yesterday:
Was Told it looks like a “Rupert” scarf and was called Rupert throughout the evening. The cheek of some people.

Re: Leicester, Saturday
There's a "Fat Cats" in Leicester and it has the same funky music policy they have in the Stoke one. Fat Cats is my favourite Hanley pub, if you can have a favourite Stoke pub. My mate used to live in Cheadle (Staffs), and went to all the Stoke towns, and "believe you me, Mark, mate", they're all shit.
Anyway, if you go to the one in Hanley, head to the downstairs bar, it's nice.................for Stoke.
