Hey mo
I recently got the iPhone 3gs, lovely bit of kit. Only had it about 10 days, when it just died. I was gutted. It wouldn't switch on, wouldn't sync, wouldn't charge. Had a spare day so popped into an Apple shop and had it replaced within 10 minutes. I suppose any consumer electricals can go wrong, but Apple's post sales service is tremendous

You can't believe there's a service provider who actually provide (gasp!) service? It's because you haven't crossed over from the dark side.... yet

Re: Hey mo
They are excellent, Ono. A couple of years ago we bought a top of the range Mac mainly for video editing (business). Had a software problem (basically we'd ordered certain software to be pre-installed and someone forgot to include the original DVDs and serial numbers).
In the end Apple replaced the entire machine, on the basis that they'd cocked up and wanted to "make it right". I got a personal apology from a customer support manager in Austin, Texas. The replacement machine arrived with two upgraded Intel processors and they let us keep the original one for 14 days to clean up before sending a courier to pick it up. ALL free of charge.
That's why Apple loyalists stay loyal. Ignore Licker, he just doesn't get it - actually admitted the iPhone is a superior product a while ago, and it just about killed him to say so

Not entirely true mo. For use, it's the most satisfying gadget known to man. That is of course to discount employing a "rabbit" on Aurelie Claudel, double grrrrr. You Appple fanboys would probably sooner play with your iPhones than pleasure the divine Ms Claudel.
The iPhone lacks a lot of functionality provided by other smart phones, but yes, for the man in the street, it's the best phone on the market, with a jaw dropping ui. There, you can't say I'm not even handed, now what about this adoption, I'll let you buy me an iPhone.

Re: Hey mo
Sorry mate, but I've already adopted someone this year. You may know her...?
Obviously she doesn't dress like a tart anymore. First thing I did was took her down the charity shop for some woollies and a nice conservative coat. Then I got her a bike:

Re: Hey mo
Right, Ono, that should keep him veering at the precipice of masturbatory overload "happy" for a while.
Tell me more about your 3GS as I'm swithering about upgrading to it from the 3G next month...what's the video camera like, and is the stills cam decent quality (i.e. better than the 3G one)?
