The only one who comes out of this with a little bit of credibility is McGeady himself. His simulation was for all to see but he took his sending off without any theatrics. As for his manager then a little bit of humility and less of the siege mentality is advised. Rules Of course we are now entering the silly season now and I expect a Rangers player to be sent off very soon Sad
ps I dont think John McDonald would survive in the modern game. Red Card

Mowbray comes across as positively the gentleman compared with Wenger, who's saying everything he can to deflect the attention from Eudardo's dive.

Serves the short arse (McGeady) ugly wee scrote right, he shouldn't dive. Was probably a masonic ref to blame though bewls. Very Happy

McGeady took it well. I think Mowbray should have remained calm. Wenger is making an arse of himself, which is a pity as I've always admired Arsenal.

I'll be interested to see whether Scottish referees apply the SFA's new-found concern about diving applied consistently and fairly. Cheating should be stamped out of the game, whatever the club involved.

Perhaps Kevin Thomson could be retrospectively punished for his utterly outrageous dive at Ibrox a year ago, for example. Scott Mcdonald goes down so often referees won't give him anything when he is actually fouled these days, and I can't blame them.

Plus the entire Hearts team, who manage to combine being fukkin dirty bassas with being the worst divers of the lot.

Did you go to the Emirates mo?

Wenger is a cock, he never "sees" anything, utter prick. But as you say, fantastic football.

Nope, would have liked to see the stadium but need to save money at the moment and also been travelling a lot lately on dotcom millionaire business. Man, have I seen the sights - Southampton, Dublin, Cambridge, Bristol, London, Manchester and Leeds. Went to Edinburgh Book Festival at the weekend - some great stuff, plus I got to meet David Simon (who wrote The Wire, that was fukking A).

Went to the home game but Caldwell's own goal pushed the tie out of reach, and it ended the moment Eduardo got his pen. Arsenal were by far the better side, it's a shame one of them felt he had to dive when they were in no danger of losing anyway.

I think Celtic will have their work cut out winning the league this year so not expecting much from "Europa" Cup or anything else. Team's too lightweight. Plus it contains Caldwell who's a useless cunt and always has been.

I have pictures of the encounter, but I'm in them so I can't up them here as you'd only get excited and make a fool of yourself. Again Laughing

For Immo: I can't post any pics of me as it may drive Licker into a masturbation frenzy, so that rules out half a dozen of the ones from the weekend, but here's one of David Simon seeking writing advice from my right arm Very Happy

Thoughts on McGeady's dive bewls? DSimon

Went to see Mark Millar, of Marvel Comics fame, at the book fest, then found out Simon was speaking in the tent next door. We chatted with Millar (very funny guy) then headed for coffee. There we caught Simon as he was finishing his book signing and we had a right good natter about HBO, pizzas (??) and the decline of city newspapers like the Baltimore Sun, Glasgow Herald, Yorkshire Post et al. I've read Homicide and didn't have it with me obviously but I picked up a copy of The Corner and he signed it for me. Good guy.
