It says something about a few fukkers' lives when they won't pay 20 quid to see something live, and they'll believe it must have been great only once they've seen it on TV

No sophisticated subterfuge intended, thought everyone knew I'm "test". Don't have crownliquor details on my phone, which I was using as I nipped for a quick pint. Saw TGB, and she's not "in calf" (that's a fucking horrible saying) as my mate mardy would say, she looked fit as a butcher's dog.

Had to work today so didn't bother with Glasto. Also passed up a Steely Dan freebie, no doubt Immo will be rolling round the floor with his pants around his ankles playing with himself at the very thought of the ole Dan playing live.

The Dan were... adequate

For the first four or five songs the mix was appaling and they sounded like a really, really good Steely Dan tribute band.

Funked up in the 2nd half tho...

Green Earrings was well funky and Hey Nineteen grooved like an enormous machine built specifically for the purpose of groovin

Encore was Kid Charlemagne - so that's gotta be good.

Still a bit underwhelmed tho...

4 You really shouldn't write on the walls

5 Sometimes a keen (but limited) trier is better than a jaded genius
