And...

...rambling on in a kinda dumbed-down, it-used-ta-be-all-fields-round-here-when-I-started-postin vein...

Manchester...

So much to answer for... ;)

...don't even get me started about Oxford... Mad

...shaping, shape-shifting, soul-shaking...

Inspiring

Ideological

If you're lucky...

...and back to Ye Smythes...

See?

It's circular and inclusive and rounded and pluralistic music is

All interesting contenders Immo apart from Ray La Montagne who is a boring cunt. I've not heard the JB one before, maybe you can send it to me sometime soon. No false promises mind Laughing

I don't think that Love Will Tear us Apart is even Joy Divisions best song but is probably their most catchiest/mainstream one and has definetly stood the test of time.

I would also add this one from the Housemartins

What a band they were smart lyrics and fantastic harmonies

This one's for Immo who hates cheesy pop records done on Oldies radio stations which also happen to be million sellers. Unless he posts them of course. Cool

Why believing in politics...

...or truth, beauty or the American way

...or the common good

...or Platonic idealism

....

...is a complete and utter goat-fuck of a premise Shocked

It's like believing in the notion that Kirk Broadfoot will eventually master the "shy-taking" skill-set.

Shocked :o Shocked confused clown

You'd be as well bleevin in anythin really

The ability of Daryll Broadfoot to write a sentence that doesn't contain a skin-flayingly bad piece of punctuation/syntax or a howlingly average pun.

The comic genius of Russ Abbott

The contents of Shame F.C.'s "Pride Over Prejudice" booklet/pamphlet/leaflet

The power of Stax Records to significantly alter the fact that cunts are still racist...

On the other hand

You could bleev in "the words"...

...and the blistering, white-hot power of wicked Wilson... Cool

"We love them, we love them, we love them - cos we support The Celtic, The Celtic, The Celtic
And where they go we'll follow, we'll follow, we'll follow - cos that's the way we like it, we like it, we like it, woah-oh-oh-oh-oh ohhhhh, woah-oh-oh-oh-oh ohhhhh..."
