Played the Academy tonight, first 40 mins was OK, quite tight blues playing, promising an evening of strong live entertainment........ONLY to disintegrate rapidly into a self-indulgent, count-the-notes-ma megabore of long solos which lurched from BB King and Santana imitations to fukkin Bon Jovi and Led Zep. As the guy next to me said during all that "suddenly I'm expecting Rick Wakeman to appear onstage in a cloak...."

Weirdest gig I've been at for a long while. Hopefully tomorrow night's wallow down memory lane with The Specials will be much more predictable. Rock Out

If you didn't have the i('m a gay)phone (©️ crownliquor Very Happy ), perhaps you could take some photos of the gig, 'cause without photos, it didn't happen as far as I'm concerned. Very Happy

Have a pleasant evening at your imaginary Specials gig young man. Very Happy

If I'd put my hand up to take a photo the cunt might have thought it was a lighter and I wanted to wave it in the air like some fukkin Bon Jovi half-wit, mate.

Fukkin weird night. One minute he was BB King the next it was like some 80s metal nightmare! Mad
