If you look up the word undersung in the dictionary there's a wee pic of AA beside it

An incredibly funny actor that avoided both the pomposity of method and the vacuity of the star-system.

Like an edgier Jack Lemmon

Or America's Alec Guinness

He's a middle-aged fish wholesaler who lives with his mother in this one.

(This could be a various artists thread. A kinda praise-em-while-they're-still-drooling-and-doddery-but-not-dead-yet theme Ponder2 )

He compulsively sprays his hands with cologne throughout the fillum

Being a fishmonger he's obsessed with the idea that his hands stink of fish

I don't think any of his liaisons end happily TBH

It's very true to life

Laughing

He's dead good in this one too

Sheldon Kornplatt is a NY dentist whose daughter is shortly to marry Vince Ricardo's (Peter Falk's) son. Vince is an insanely eccentric and reckless CIA undercover operative with a freebooting approach to life which is in direct contrast to that of Alan Arkin's neurotic, uptight, molar-crunching character.

When Vince gets Shelly entangled in an undercover op... hilarity ensues Laughing

Better'n that sounds

Much better Laughing

Unavailable on DVD since forever
