Pepe should have known, as a true blue tractor boy, that Ipswich Town was the first club in the EPL to have an all seated ground. Aberdeen was first in Scotland to have dug outs.

Hugh Reed & the Velvet Underpants were a tongue-in-cheek act cum tribute band who did the Scottish circuit for a long time (late 80s and early 90s). They were around at the same time as Big Vern & The Shooters (a Blues Brothers tribute act), who usually guaranteed a wild night, especially if you were pished (er, I seem to remember).

Hugh Reed is still around, I think. Changed his band to the Hugh Reed Explosion a while back. Not heard of them for a while.
