I'm not that bothered for adding extra sweetness to parsnips I usually just oil, salt and roast em.

I have had a measure of success with carrots and a bit of lemon zest butter however.

Lamb's liver, onion gravy, mash and spring greens with nutmeg at Immo towers toneet.

And maybe a small libation

parsnips shmarshnips, though lovely, cant hold a candle to roasted butternut squash, scrumdiddliumcious.

That they are all tautological compounds.

ie they can be split and each half of the original word can be used to the same effect.

Taxi = Taxicab and Cab = Taxicab f'rinstance.

Now that's clever, but I had doubts about 'quag' so I looked it up in an online dictionary.

I can confirm to all friends and colleagues of Stennymad (and to licker and bewls too! ) that 'quag' can mean a swamp or quagmire.
