Jesus wept, Wiggins turns from an also-ran into TDF winner and then smokes Tony Martin for 40 plus seconds in the Olympics TT and the hypocritical British press don’t question it? Yet a Chinese swimmer’s performance is questioned before she’s exited the pool.
Wiggins’ performance is as credible as mo smiling or sevvy turning down a pie.
Too many vested interests in the press, they won’t question things and rock the boat.

Have no issue with doping, love watching doped performances (Vino, Rasmussen, Ricco, Contador etc) if they’re executed with panache, but don’t insult my intelligence and pretend you’re clean.

All football fans are scum, but the one-eyed myopic cunts who believe there’s no doping in soccerball are the worst.

Why are we turning a blind eye to it? Wiggo in the space of a month has cycled about 3500km but still turns in a performance like that? I dare not raise the subject down here for fear of been deported. God help us if Wiggo was ever tested positive..

Ps the yanks questioned the chinese swimmers performance.Probably still hurting over Marion Jones.

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck......
Bewls, you can be the Stoke representative for combating the public’s jingoistic induced ignorance. Keep safe though, don’t wish to see a gent such as yourself deported.

There’s talk that Sky are the new “protected” team in the peloton in the same way that US Postal were. Being protected means prior warning of drug tests and making positives go away. It’s accepted by many that the UCI are corrupt, not quite on the same level as the IOC or FIFA.
Some see the odd positive as sacrificial lambs chosen politically. For instance, all the teams are supposed to post a bond with the UCI so if the team goes bust (very common in cycling, Radioshack are/were behind with payment to some of their riders) there is money to pay the cyclists. This rule appears not to be strictly adhered to so when the riders aren’t paid and they go to the UCI for redress there is no money from the bond. The rider expects the UCI to cover his salary, but if you cross the UCI you’re fucked, especially if you’re doping and most are, you may test positive. This normally only happens to the lower riders, but Frank Schlek wasn’t being paid by Radioshack and look what happened to him. Please remember this is only speculation and I’m making no allegations.

You also need to remember no governing body wants positives, it’s bad for sponsorship, why do you think tennis has a laughable testing regime?
