The eighties were a wasteland for the culturally significant TC.

All the passion was sucked out of the art (by huge coal-driven suction machines usually) and replaced by a bunch of ruthlessly ambitious junior design consultants who communicated in bleeps and survived on a basic diet of skipping lunch, shameless toadying and supermarket-brand energy bars.

With the finely-tuned ear he has, it's a mystery to me as to why Crownybhoy loves the 80s so much.

One that will remember

the one with the girl and the clown....i never saw it as a clown with a green body and buttons till recently.....all my life what i saw and still do unless i concentrate real hard is.....a clown at the back but in the foreground a green skull with two bullet holes in it sticking its tongue out at the girl

i presumed it was a mark of respect after the kennedy assassination

i expected an avalanche of replies form posters who for years like me have seen that green skull but were too embarrassed to mention it
