at that time in falkirk the hot place for atrocious fashion was Henry Dillons....only shops that had perishable goods could keep there power on during the day so for short period Dillon gave you a free orange with every tartan shirt in a cunning attempt to outwit the power police

I bought a Harrington from Baracuta a few years back. Pretty good quality for the price.

Still got a Crombie, Sev. Best coats in the world.

Two stripe college jersey, anyone? Black and red, green and gold!

Ha ha, didn't have Oxford bag but did have green and gold CJ with two stripes. And a black and white one with three stripes (and added Paisley checks!) Very Happy

Had a pair of Skinners at one stage which I wore with a black blazer. What fukkin style we had in the 70s, not like these shellsuited arsehoes today.

Thinking of seeing Neds this week, should bring back more fashion memories if nothing else.

I mind back in the 70,s, the record running a story about how the kids were dressing as the characters from Clockwork Orange, they thought the world was coming to an end in a wave of Droog ultra violence. Very Happy

Yep, it was a real disappointment to actually see Clockwork Orange and see it was just some pretentious art movie wank.

In many ways we had a lot more style in the 70s, I think. Girls are well dressed these days, young lads seem locked in some metrosexual nightmare with their floppy hair and their jeans hanging round their knees.
