The bassist on this clip; Tetsu Yamauchi, had an unhappy experience during his (brief) spell with the band.

Anxious to 'fit in' he attempted to keep up with Rod & Co's Herculean drinking schedule.... and became a hopeless alcoholic before the end of his first year in the job.


Sadly... his replacements; Ryuchi Saka-potatoh and Stomu YamashtabeenAbeautifulbaby, fared no better.

Deviants were 'too American' for me.

Sound engineer Itchi Rsole toiled with Ronnie, Ian and Kenny's drinking habits as well, as I recall.
