Darren Bent To Celtic?

I first got alerted to this via a carrot crunchers website I use and then found the link to the story in the Daily Record.

Now I know it's a Daily Record story and should be taken with a wheel barrow of salt, but Darren would be a fantastic acquisition for Celtic. He's got loads of pace, great positional sense, decent in the air and can score loads of goals. And, unlike one or two ex-Ipswich players, doesn't come with excess baggage

Now I know that his wages would be probably be an obstacle (apparently he's the 19th highest paid player in the world ) and if you couldn't get him on loan then you're looking at a £10 million+ transfer fee, but what a marvellous signing he would be.

Plus Spurs are looking for a goalkeeper.......

Bent would be a huge hit at Celtic.

Good pace and plays well off the last defender. He seemed to lose a lot of confidence early on a Spurs. Not sure why.
