Why don't the TV commentators criticise the players for feigning death and diving, they do on the radio, especially the excellent Alan green?

Well it was said the BBC lost the rights to MOTD to ITV because they were too critical, is this why?


Think this is the worst competition for feigning death I've seen for ages, yet no condemnation has been forthcoming.

Bet the commentators would post YouTube videos on here instead of interesting points.

Actually I think this championships shown a marginal improvement in diving. World Cups have been a lot worse.

Problem with Germany and Portugal is they're both full of divers. Holland haven't dived much but van Nistelrooy is an old hand at it and Robben spent the last World Cup horizontal.

I have that feeling of doom that tells me Italy and Germany will make an inexorable path to the final leaving better footballing teams like Spain and Holland in their wake. Then it will be 1-1 after 120 mins (both penalties) followed by penalties
