Re: A New Tunes Thread
I know
But I only caught up with Monshewer Smythe recently having previously heard a coupla duffers and dismissed him as a whiny, acoustic milk-sop.
I know different now...
...doesn't that count for anything round here?
PS
I knew the first post when i got back from kitchen duties would be you bein sniffy about the non-contemporaneity of the E.S. track

Re: A New Tunes Thread
I call that bold talk for a one-eyed,baldy man.
Fill yor hand you sunnuvvabitch!!!
(Like you haven't already in anticipation of my reply you homo-erotically obsessed, furiously-masturbating, filthy beast )
Incidentally...
Vis a vis "originality"...
I note that your lonely (1st/inaugural post) contributions to this board over the last page have been as follows:
1 pigtail-pulling, and frankly, embarrasingly gauche, homo-erotic, "come-on" to myself in the form of Clash-Dissing
1 nerdish enquiry regarding the merits of click-through ads as a viable source of economic support for the budding young entrepreneur
A Donald Finlay name-drop
A rubbish "Here's the bus no comin" schoolboy attempt at humour (and you mention me in the title again )
What larks Pip
Latest Paddy Power odds on Sperms' next image post...
Closet case - out of Floppy Hat
11/10 (fav)
Furious Wanker - out of his mind
(Evs)

All the years when the clique was just you and I James, nary a cross word was typed. You invite the dipso and the dwarf and it's carnage.
Hmmm, "Dipso and the Dwarf", could be a tv show like "BJ and the Bear"

I am coming up to exams again and need new tunes.... there actually isn't very much recommended here so I would implore you all to keep to topic and keep the chit chat for another thread.

Re: A New Tunes Thread
I liked this track (despite the obvious Neil Young rip) and din't expect to
I bought the album but I haven't listened to it properly yet
There's a bitta Clifford T Ward in there too - which is troubling

Re: A New Tunes Thread
Got a current soft spot for this an'all
As a "radio" single likes
Prolly be sick of it in a few weeks tho
Speshly once the undesirable elements on here get a whiff of the title
They look like a right buncha wankers an'all
Make that a week-and-a-half

But it doesn't sound particularly "new" to me
Love it tho

Re: A New Tunes Thread
I'm not very good with new stuff O.
My filtering process is v tortuous
If it's stone-cold , 24-carat newbies that sound triffic on the first listen and grow and grow and grow on ya till they get to feel like an itch you're never gonna be able to scratch that yer after...
You could do a lot worse than consider the (admittedly erratic) Crownybhoy recs.
I thought he'd never surpass Postal Service's - Such Great Heights
I was wrong
