Re: Music Requests
I don't have it Jimmy
Intrigued tho - is it the kinda stagey-tenor version where he slows down the "...land of my heart forevvvvv-aaaaah..." at the end and all the hairs on your forearms stand to attention?
I heard a versh like that a coupla times and it happened to me that way.
And I fuckin hate Scotland

Re: Music Requests
That's really nice man.
I like the pianner pounder in that clip - chronically unsuited to appearing on stage
I recognise his m.o.
Watch how he twiddles the volume down at about 1.30 cos he thinks "I'm playin shite " then turns it up a few moments later as he thinks "mibbes I'll get away with it"
The wee bitta business where the singer spots it and ribs him gently during his solo is lovely.
Got a wee Proustian rush off the old-style school door in the back of the shot an'all
So what's the story with this one?

Looks like its the first time he's played outwith the walls of his bedroom. I've had a quick look for the pianer player and he goes by the unfortunate handle of Bevis Hungate. Fuck I'm tempted to break my smiley embargo with that name, sounds like some FF conspiracy story
Might have a bit of joy with the album mate, I'll keep you posted

Re: Music Requests
I'm searching for two things:
1. The new album by Midlake
2. The new album by Gil Scott Heron.
I don't suppose anybody might know where these might be procured.
Please?

Re: Music Requests
Got both albums now, from another source. Took about 10 minutes, obviously wasting my time on this thread.
Thanks for nothing, Crown. Slipping fast down the fave posters list btw.
