The Forth Bridge

Real men would eschew such a convenience and swim across, but I know how exercise averse you lot are.
You could probably just about summon the energy to watch this new BBC documentary on it though, couldn’t you?

I hear it's going to be repeated across the Tory-Homeland-Formerly-Known-As-the-UK by something called "BBC4" quite soon.

Brilliant programme.

They missed a trick by not calling the new crossing the Fifth Bridge

Word on the street is Mr Falkirk Genius thought "The Forth Bridge" was one of the best TV programmes of the year, one concurs. Keep it under your hat though.

I said I thought it was a brilliantly evocative and sensitively shot piece of landmark television.... let down by vair vair shoddy production IIRC. And I stand by that. Very Happy Fight

You can't get production staff these days, they're always in the gym.

Word on the street (the gym toilets) is the hand jobs are rather pleasant, the drugs are rubbish, mind.

I think we're in trouble, immo.

This is on my to do list, along with visiting the Kelpies and the Falkirk wheel. It's fairly likely I'll be doing none of this again this year cheers

I hear it's been nominated in the Celtic Media Festival Awards, single factual documentary section.

Which means the shoddy production staff get a free night in Inverness.

Could be worse - sometimes they hold that sort of thing in places like fukkin Swansea.
