Bob Stanley's 'Yeah Yeah Yeah' is a proper toilet book (various chapters allocated to each turn of the 'pop' wheel: rock/mod/freak/folk/punk/psych/prog...) for the discerning Sunday-morning layer of the cable.  pig  Very Happy

Howevaaah...

Mark Lewisohn's 'Tune In' is shaping up nicely to be pt.1 of the only trilogy of properly-researched academic work you're ever gonna need Fabs-wise.

The pin-sharp detail is totally engrossing.

Genuinely thrillling to read some of the Hamburg stuff.

BETTINNNAAAAHHH!!!  Very Happy

Also released as a 7" single by "Ill-Judged Bum-Trumpet"  pale ...

(Clinically obese, Heinzdonistic, anarcho-pastry-ist punk group  Rock Out )

...as 'I Remember You (Ya Cunt)'

(Cheesecloth Shart Records - AWFUKNOAHGAIN-001  pale  pale )

But with much less harroongachanga on the banjos.  No No

Obviously.   Smile
