ever since i can remember
Rangers Celtic games have been a constant in the marking the passage of time....you always remember the time you won/lost with your old man...My two lads will probably never get that feeling now...how fukkin sad

Re: ever since i can remember
I always hated those games - too nerve-racking.
Alright if ye won... insufferable if ye got beat.
Mind you... when Strachan was in charge I'd feel that way durin games against Hibs. Or Hearts. Or Clyde.

Re: ever since i can remember
My favourite memory with my old man at a Celtic game was the Cup semi-final vs Hearts in 1988.
We were both pretty pished tho.

Re: ever since i can remember
Bit extreme man.
I had a guy round the house today - season ticket holder at Ibrox, as is his wife and three kids.
Did him the favour of not mentioning the fitba - but he raised it first.
Had quite a civilised/reasonable convo about it an'all.
Might catch on - ye never know.

Re: ever since i can remember
Celtic Rangers games include many great memories for me, obviously mainly the ones that Celtic won. 4-1 in 1969, 6-2 in 2000, and many more
Pity one of the clubs fucked up big time, cheated for years, and then got shafted by its very owner, his administrators, and (finally) by reality. An ignominious end and a damnable way to kill one of the world's oldest clubs and great derbies.
If I were a Rangers fan I couldn't back Newco under any circs. Amazed that so many seem to be willing to do so, perhaps reality ain't hit yet.
If only there really was a will to use this to shake up Scottish football
