Healey and Murphy

Post by pepe on Sun Mar 06, 2011 9:42 am

Keane got them both on loan down here last January.

Murphy was alright for a month or so then he give up trying. Apparently he was on 25K a week at Sunderland (Town were paying 12K of that) so I'd be interested to know how much celtic are now paying.

Healey was never fit the entire time he was down here. He scored a couple of goals if I remember right but otherwise was a complete waste of space. And wages.

And the Yahoos (aka the Fenian Bastards... i can't think of any other gratuitous insults right now) can have Darren O'Dea back-he's shite

Healy's on a slice of the never happened Adam percentage (see EHD), while Murphy's costs relate to his backgound being 'ok' with the fans.

Both about the same if truth be told.

And O'Dea confirms that Jewell is not daft enough to extend his loan or even pay good money for a transfer. He says that his heart has always been with Celtic. Yeah ok.

He can't pass, has got no pace and can only play in central defence.

Mind you Tractor Roy though he was good......

I never knew of it, but twice on different message boards a poster has referred posters to it today. Now I'm puzzled.

Well rumour has it we're paying Jimmy Bullard 12K a week although Hull City insist it's much, much more than that bearing in mind they're paying him 45 thousand weekly....

I agree about Jim's pay off. Marcus Evans has treated him very badly.

Also bear in mind that Ipswich Borough Council actually own the ground that Portman Road stands on and Marcus Evans Group (who now own Ipswich) owe a sizeable amount in back rent.

Anyway coming back to the point O'dea would have to be on 12K+ per week for Town not to be able to afford him. He's on no where near that though.

He'll probably end up at Hibs.
